Our founder, Erik, started in tree work back in 2012 and fell in love with the industry right away. Something about working and caring for the outdoors become such a visceral passion that they never looked back. Starting how most people start in this industry they dragged brush and fed a chipper while absorbing the knowledge and skills of everyone around. Quickly moving into a climbing and foreman position they eventually found their way to the PNW in 2015. Here they worked with a Portland local tree service for a few years before opening Arbor Viking in 2018 and the rest is history. With a dedication to quality service, client satisfaction, and continued education; Arbor Viking has remained a staple in the PNW. We strive to maintain our beloved tree canopy while sharing knowledge and experience with everyone who shares this passion.
